My question is. has anyone found a chew toy that Pyrs like? We still have the occasional chewing episode where he finds something he is not supposed to chew and off course mangles it. He loves wood!

Zeke loves chewing on sticks but I don’t really want my house littered with them.

I have bought a number of “guaranteed” toys, all to no avail. He loses interest in anything like a Kong as soon as the treat is gone.

Thanks.
i gave nyla bones but as my female pyr swallowed those bits, I've thrown all and just stick to raw beef bones now. my pyr loved sticks as well and trimmed my trees/shrubs, at the base. (we stopped this tho as we have bamboo). if we have to leave em at home, we will take out a rope toy and thier puppy favorites stuffed toys (the ones tat had squeekers)
others are bed corner, table corner, turkish carpet, rug, bedding - it's called PYR'S CHOICE

Thanks for all of your responses.

My dog does love bones from the butcher or soup bones from the grocery store. But they do seem a little hard on his stomach, he tends to get a little diarrhea the next day after a large bone. Off course he spends about an hour and half and "cleans" it thoroughly.

Terry, Zeke loves wood trim as well and stairs. I have many similar photos.

Duke loves Pig ears. When we first gave him one it took him a couple hours to go through one. Now a few mins. He goes crazy when he hears the bag, and he knows he is getting one. I think he is either finally getting tired of them though. He still wants one when he hears the bag, but he doesn't sit down and chew it all. He usually does eventually come back to it though. He also has several toys that are newer that have his attention lately. That could be some of it.
