Maggie's Mom-We are ready for another picture of Arlo. Bet he's growing like a weed. I need a puppy fix.

Here are some "proud momma" pics!

Yep, Arlo is definitely growing like a weed...and has developed quite an attitude! He has completely recovered from the tetanus and looks like the normal, adorable puppy we brought home. He's a fluffy ball of pure puppy fun and mischief. He's all boy and all pyr...no fear; and at times, no sense! The other day, he climbed through the pickets on our back deck on to the 12 ft retaining wall leading down to our basement.

I guess the Olympic balance beam events made an impression on him?? He absolutely loves Jazz and Maggie, and thinks he is as big as both of them. He doesn't let them push him around at all. They have both been remarkably gentle and tolerant, and they love playing with him. So far, the dynamics are perfect!
He has much more of a pyr temperament than Maggie did at this age. It didn't take him long to figure out our morning routine...when my husband leaves for work, Arlo gets crated while I walk Jazz and Maggie. Arlo has learned that is the time to run and hide! Recall??? Forget it!! He is definitely more stubborn and independent than Maggie was.
He's a very sweet little guy...not mouthy at all with humans, (poor Maggie's ears are a different story. He also likes to bite her tail, and I often see her running across the yard with Arlo in tow on her tail.

) he hasn't been overly destructive in the house, is very friendly with people and the golden retriever down the street. In the next couple weeks, I hope to be able to complete his puppy shots so he can go for short walks on the trail for more socialization.
Thanks for asking about him! Arlo is loving life and living large!

If anyone ever wonders how pys play (even with a Sammie!) Notice Arlo biting Maggie on the tail.
