I love Newt's colouring Red! He's gorgeous! He looks so soft and snuggable!

He is ... as long as you are one of his goats!

He is a working LGD and loves to snuggle with the baby goats ... the rest of the world ... not so much.

Thank you Terry!
The breeder told me he's quiet big, but i'm still a bit worried... I just want him to be healthy, i'm not the kind of person who wants to have the biggest dog in the world just to show him as a circus phoenomenon...

If you keep reading on the board here Bigupboo you will see Hanouk should have no worries There are very large Pyrs and the smaller versions..Murphy at 2 years never weighed more than 100lbs but Emma is older than 2 years and i am sure she is over that now..

Keep us up to date eh

Our Nanuk is at 78lbs and not quite 5 months old. He is going to be a big boy according to the vet. His dad was 175lbs and his mom 150. Both are working Pyrs.

Ciao Frederico,

Your puppy's breeder will be the best person to talk to regarding how big he may grow, as it can very considerably depending on the lines. Who is your boys breeder? I know a few breeders in Italy and my dogs here in Australia actually have some Italian bred dogs in their pedigrees.

Remember the important thing is to make sure the pup doesn't get fat (you say he is lean so that is good) and don't feed him food that is too high in calories as you want him to grow slow and not fast if you can to reduce the chance of bone and joint issues (I notice his front legs are a little east-west looking in the last picture you posted. Not too bad at this stage by the look of it, but something to be careful of as it is something that happens easily in the fast growing dogs in particular).
