Hi Jack and Byron. Wow, 4 shedding breeds at one time. What kind of vaccum do you have? People who rescue are very special. Sorry to hear you lost the rest of the pack. That's always so sad. Byron is quite the looker. Love his markings. Lance behaves the same way when we encounter other dogs on our walks, bouncing around on 2 paws and barking. Generally I see them first as he's so busy sniffing everything and I can grab him by his collar so he doesn't embarass me too much

What kind of vacuum cleaner? A very tired one. . I have to say Byron is the worst with shedding.
Thank you all for your expression of sympathy for the loss of my other guys. Yes, the start of 2012 was not a good one. But I have to remember that all of my guys who passed on had a long life, 15 plus years. I just hope death gives me a little break for awhile.
I am glad to hear that Byron is not the only one with the crazy behavior. After experiencing it awhile with him I just summed it up as a "Pyr thing".
I attached a few more pics of Byron I took today. I usually do not take time off to sit down, too many things to be done, but this afternoon I just ran out of steam and laid on a lounge chair by the pool. I hope you enjoy his pics.

Byron is a VERY handsome boy!! What a sweet face! You can see his love for you in his eyes, and he looks so happy. You obviously take great care of your pups if your others lived 15+ yrs...kudos to you! I'm sorry for your loss of the other pups...it's so hard to say goodbye to our special babies.
Welcome to the group!

Chicago Red, I see that you are from Houston. Where about in Houston? Many years ago, back in the 80's, I lived there for about 10 yrs. I was in the Northeast part, near Intercontinental Airport, if it is still called that.

Yep still called Intercontinental but they have added "Bush" to the front of it. Something to do with some politician.
I live in Pearland, just south of Houston, 5 minutes drive due south of Hobby.
