Murphy is shedding like crazy right now but i think we have a handle on it without the big cost of this product..

Oh it is I know all about that. I groom for a living and have tried it without the solution and with the solution. You have to have at least the deshedding solution to make it work. I don't use the furminator on Missy at all right now because her coat is just starting to get thick and pretty.

I bathe my Pyr every weekend. 3 weekends out of a month I'll use Johnson$Johnson No Tear baby shampoo so I dont dry his skin out. The last weekend of the month I'll use Sentry's Oatmeal flea and tick shampoo. I do a light brush everyday to get the dirt and grass off him.

P.S. My Pyr was shaved with a #2 guard. I'm enjoying the easy life now!!! :P
