lol sorry.
A mental walk is where you are walking and the dog is following. I work my dogs and they must be watching me, not like a german shep would, but if fI stop, they stop, if I turn, they turn, if I take a step back, their hands are watching me (along with the rest of the world) . this can't be achieved however through traditional positive reinforcement stuff, this is more of a ceasr or bark busters thing. I just had my female running for 6 hours straight in very hot humid weather, the next day, she was so full of energy. I know she needs exercise for her phsyical body, but her mental part doesn't need that exercise, she needs mental work. For a pyr, that's a lot of work to focus on you as you know.I need to put up a video so people know what I'm talking about.

Yes, yes! The dog is totally tuned into the motion of your body, watching you out of the corner of their eye to see what your next move is. The way I was taught is to keep them on a loose leash and walk, changing your pace and direction - this way, that way, zig-zag, slow, fast. The dog must stay right at your side, ready for your next move. So, this is not a mindless activity for them, they are focused through the whole walk.
