    Default Curious About Vitamins/Supplements

I have a 2 1/2 year old Great Pyr, Ruby. Shes healthy and active, but I worry about some of the ailments that Pyrs are prone to getting (hip dysplasia, patella issues, etc.). Do any of you keep your Great Pyrs on vitamins or supplements just as a preventative? Ill obviously talk with her vet before putting her on anything, but just wanted input from fellow Pyr owners first

If you are feeding a high quality dog food from a company you trust then no, I see no reason to add any vitamin supplements to their food. If you have a dog that is a senior or ill, then the only vitamin supplement that I would recommend is from Pet Express
