I NEVER cry during movies and then I saw this movie....
The acting might not be good at times, but the story itself is so touching. I really enjoyed it.

mike...glad you liked it...I actually found the most touching part for me was the ending as the dog laid by Dennis Quaid...
agree...acting was not academy award stuff....but well enough done!

Terry....you can go to the movies with my hubby any time you want!!....sounds like you both enjoy the same action types!

    I love that Saint mix!

I may have to wait to see the movie until it comes to Netflix. I ugly cried at Secret Life of Pets. I can only imagine what this movie would do to me.

SM....my husband always wonders about me & my mental state....he can't figure out why I go to these sad movies!!
He refuses to watch an animal suffer or die in a movie...but give him a "Die Hard" or similar where you can't count how many people die or get beat up in the first 5 minutes....that's okay....maybe I should wonder about his mental state!

I thought Secret Life of Pets was pretty heavy for an animated film....there's a second one coming out this summer!

Can totally understand why you want to wait for A Dogs Journey on Netflix....yes...it will make you cry....actually I cried at the end of the movie...I won't tell you why....
