    Default Been awhile, but..

    Hey all, haven't been around in nearly 10 years so glad to be back. Had to put ace down last fall due to cancer and tbh and am still heartbroken af over it. I don't think it's will ever really heal...However, going to get a 9 week old pyr tomorrow so definitely thrilled about that! Will post pics soon and hope all is well with you guys and your babies!

    Good to see you back! So sorry to hear that you've lost Ace. My two, Bijou and Bro, are both gone as well.
    I agree that the heartbreak is so very deep.

    I am glad you will be welcoming a new generation. We sue look forward to pictures!

    Welcome back....so sorry to hear about Ace....it's never easy to say good by to these white fluffies....they get into your heart

    In 10 years many of us have had to let our Pyr's go to the Rainbow Bridge....and it's a good thing to have this forum & understanding & empathetic listeners

    Looking forward to hearing (and seeing!!) all the antics of your new companion

    Barking is an individual dog thing. In the world of LGDs, some of them work as what I think of as "alerters" while others are the "actioners." The alerters are the ones sounding the alarm of anything different. The action guys go after the predators. The alerters will bark more than the action guys. Either gender can be one or the other type. Our current one, Ren, is the alerter type because he tells us everything that is different. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body so he is not the action type.
