Sounds normal to me. When Pippa was teething she went through a phase of nibbling. Buy her a good toy she can chew on.

welcome Hennyhen...and your girls name is....?

try wetting an old washcloth/ dishcloth....freezing it then letting her chew on it....at 5 months old it sounds like she's teething
redirecting her with a toy is a good idea too...just make sure you make it fun for her...play with her for awhile so that she thinks that toy is the greatest most interesting thing there is...especially if you want to play with it too!!!

    this will pass...yes it's normal...for every puppy!
