Sorry I've been MIA between travel and work. I just got back from San Francisco. Kit is practicing the CGCA. It has been harder for getting her to learn more advanced skills without food. I can get her dance the can can with the right treat. Without treats, the hardest thing to get her to do is come. She will sit, lay down, stay or roll over without a problem.

    Things I'm struggling with:
barking or guarding particuarly in the car. She sounds pretty scary when we drive by strangers. This is particularly true if there is a person walking a dog. What I do is sit in the back and get her to focus to thwart any barking before it starts with treats and praises. We've had several sessions but it is very hard to train insincts out of a dog.

Another time she likes to bark, when the sun is down and it is night. She finds is way more suspicious of them at night pariticuarly men.

    Things I've fixed:
lunging or jumping up as long as the particular individual isn't going bananas, she wont jump on them.
