Poor mom! I bet you feel worse than Chester! I know I thought it was all over the two trimmings ago when I quicked Tyro but last week he let me trim his nails with no fuss, no muzzle and with a blissful smile on his face. Granted he thinks he's a king and ministrations from minions are his rightful due but I was in shock! Chances are, your positive time the last round will overshadow the trauma of this event with a little help from the beef.

Pippa is terrified of the nail clippers. As soon as she sees them, she starts running away. She's "due" to this week, and I have no idea what I'm going to do. I've tried everything. Nail clippers, nail grinders (she hates the sound), treats, nothing works... She lets me touch her paws, but I can never cut her nails at once. Lately, I have been doing 2 or 3 per day and that takes me an hour.

I am a believer in brisket! I am also planning to use brisket to ensure that they let me get good pictures of them in their Christmas sweaters! Something tells me that this will be far easier said than done!

Why not try to do them in her sleep. I used to do Missy's while she was sleeping when she was younger. I paint her toe nails while she is asleep. Also might I suggest that you turn your dremel on during the day and let the battery die but, keep it on so she gets used to the noise.

I think Pippa would wake up and move if I tried cutting her nails in her sleep, but I will definitely try.
    Thank you!

LOL, so maybe Pippa gets brisket only when the dremel is on!
