    Default Losing golden hairs n turning light cream .whi.does that mean hes got more great pyre

    Ernie i noticed this week is losing patches of golden hair of puppy hair and his adult hair is white n cream light the head under fur is a few shades lighter underneth... he gained 3 pounds this week..do you think he has more great pyrenes in him..

    Sebastian is believed to be anywhere from a quarter to half Pyr. There’s really no way to know for sure. His markings did fade significantly between the time he was turned over to his rescue (between 5 and 7 weeks of age), and when he was roughly six months old.

    No I don't. That's perfectly normal though. Missy is half Pyr and her coat is always changing colors. In the summer she is lighter and in the winter she is darker. Goldens change colors like that too by the way. There is no way of knowing what your puppy is mixed with but, the fact that it was so golden means there is no way it's purebred or 75% or higher Pyr.

    Thanks..my dog is alot lighter not that golden.n hes losing puppy fur n turning light cream .the part light cream is turning white.his morher was full bred huge

    Ernie sure is a cutie pie, just enjoy the changes and enjoy every moment, no matter what his mix or percentage is, he's going to grow up way too fast! LOL my zech will be 6 months on the 24th.
    Here's how fast he changed from 7 weeks to 5 months in his markings...

    Awwww your dog grew fast very adorable very cute dog..yes ill put more pics as he grows ..he putting on 3 pounds a week..just had him a month n one week...ernie is a realy good dog he mostly listens..the only thing is he likes stealing things from inside the house n adding them to his pile of stuff outside..lol especily when im not looking..
