Default Does a change in weather change your dog's behavior?

Whenever it gets cool in FL, all of my dogs are a bit more energetic. I was wondering if you guys have the same experience?

Both of mine have been crazy men since this last cold front came through! Sebastian has also spent extra time “guarding” us from the back yard. He’s allowed to stay out there as long as he is quiet!

Undoubtedly. Cooler weather creates huge bursts of zoomies and wild games. In the photo below, Lily, who is usually a bit more sedate, is flying through the air and hit Ru mid-flight. On the very rare occasions when we get a bit of snow, they completely lose their minds.

Haha same! I love the photo! The weather has made my doodle insane! He is usually very calm indoors but since the weather has been in the 60s, he has been doing zoomies every morning. I've taken them both on walks and Lucky is pulling hard like he forgot the word "heel". They are both calmer before the walk than after. After a refreshing walk, it is like they are recharged and ready to romp indoors. haha silly dogs.

He's like, "Girls, take a chill pill!" One of the few times he has been awestruck at Lily's craziness.

Pippa has not seen snow yet and I cannot wait to see how she reacts. She was born in January 2017 in Tennessee, but didn't get her until late April when the snow here in Michigan had already melted.

Sebastian's first snow was on Christmas Day, 2012. It was pretty magic! I can’t wait to hear all about how Pippa enjoys her first snowfall! It has got to be on its way soon!

Thank you! Snow usually visits us around Halloween and doesn't leave until March! Pippa will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the snow this winter haha. Hoping for a cold winter in Dallas so Sebastian can gambol in the snow.

Our dog is from Minnesota and was born in December. She had not seen grass when I picked her up in Feb lol.
