Chester hated the cone until he figured out how to ram Sebastian and me in the shins with it. Sebastian got so sick of Chester’s antics that he ended up taking Chester’s cone off of him, and promptly dismantled it before I knew what he was doing.

That look on his face after the bath! It looks like he is becoming a master of Mommy manipulation!
Too funny, Zech Loved following me so close he was ramming the back of my legs every step... SIGH My shiba wasn't having any of that cone thing she wouldn't go near him LOL I am so glad it is off, I think it helped that first night coming off the anesthesia etc... I had to take it off and wash it like every couple hours that next day.
He definitely has the mommy manipulation working full time LOL... I can't resist that face.. yesterday he flopped down behind me against my legs upside down and just gave that goofy face... we so love this boy.

    Wow, that's kinda strict!
I live in the city of Denver.... and it is the same 6 months for cats too, we even have breed specific laws.... GO DENVER-NOT I could have stretched it 30 days after the 6 months but we have an embroidery business and we are about to be so busy that it was better to just get it done now.

It really didn't bother him much at all...
though I was a mess until I got the call he was in recovery and doing great.

Something like this, I suppose? We call it the doofus grin. I do have to consider, though, what kind of person goes around taking upside down photos of their dog so they can immortalize it forever?!

Zech hasn't done this in weeks, he doesn't fit
On the way home 2 days ago he climbed under the hammock and up over the center console & my lap to ride in my footwell....

He was VERY PROUD of himself... What a floofball...

Sebastian's Mom he is... I cried for over 2 hours this am with zech never leaving my side for Bailey and his mom reading her thread.. It took me that long to respond... Then I had to share this to just breathe and share some smiles... not every story is so heartbreaking hard

I feel bailey was the perfect dog for her when she recued him, It's just sometimes the lessons and sharing is so short of a time for the journeys together that it's hard to comprehend. I am praying her next perfect dog finds her right on time... I am grateful I had Zech with me all day today... His sweet smooth adoring eyes for goodies and his paws up on the desk when I was busy... I am so grateful for my boy AND the circumstances I have that he can be with me 24 hours... I am praying for simpler days and much love for all of us as Thanksgiving comes especially.

I had Bailey’s family in my heart all day yesterday, and cried a bit for them, too. Even though I fully believe that they absolutely, positively, 100% made the right decision, I can’t imagine that being any consolation to them right now. This time last year, Chester’s Anxiety was in a bad bad place to the point that our vet sat me down for the dreaded “Quality of Life” discussion. I don’t think I have ever cried so much. It was sheer luck that I was able to find the right Behaviorist to help him overcome his fears.

I am hopeful that when the time is right, Bailey’s family will find the right dog for them.

And yes, I am thankful for my two every single day!
