Jackson's had a recurring infection in the left ear for the past 6 months. This morning both of them were super stinky and gunky! The vet(s) have given me various solutions, but I think the Zymox works best.

Keep checking the ears every other day or so. You'd be surprised at how quickly they can "gunkify."

Do you just stream in peroxide/listerine or do a certain amount of drops? Ahsoka's left ear looks gunkified, I think it's time she got ear cleaning initiated.

I just squirt it in. I have my Listerine in one of the bottles for hair dye that was never used for hair dye. As for the peroxide I just use a cap full.

    Hi there,

'Just squirting it in' or using peroxide might not be the best methods to clean a dog's ear. Here are some recommendations for cheap dog ear cleaners that you can use: https://goldenretrieverlove.com/best...en-retrievers/. Now all you need to do is to wash the ear, put the cleaner on a cotton ball or a clean cloth then wipe the ear. It's that easy and safe.
