Bahahaha! Ralph does the exact same thing! Glad I'm not the only one who suffers. He takes his time moseying off the couch, front feet on the floor, back feet on the couch, a good stretch and BAM! and then he quickly vacates the room.

he also did some counter surfing lastnight bear and ate half a tub of margarine
he is to go back down to the vets at 8.30 and i cant see this helping his test.

he wasnt to eat anything and we are not to give him his needle till the vet checks him out. the vet is only a 5 min drive from the house so all this running around isnt that bad.

and what else would i do on my holidays?

just got back from the vets and despite the margarine mishap he did very well we are to lower his insulin to once a day for the weekend and then they want to check him again Monday.
i am heading back to the village as i can buy our own tester at the drugstore.

oh he scored alright Maya and it wont happen again

just got back from the drugstore and found out the tester is not the exact same numbers for dogs as humans, so gonna wait and talk to the vet monday to see what to do on that.

picked up a insulin pen and the cartridges that go with it as the vet told Heather last night that it would be cheaper there than at the vets place got half as much more for the same price..

Murphy lets us do whatever we want to him but it will be alot easier to just use the pen...

ya i wasnt quite sure if it went in this morning Topper as he didnt even flinch?

i am trying not to make a big deal about the cost of all this but i just hung up with Costco and they will sell me the same amount of insulin as the drugstore but for $35 cheaper...

man-o-man there is a big markup at the vets and at drugstores
