I just hate it when people try to read over my shoulder.

He was just trying to help you Dad! My pyrs are very helpful like that. They like to lay in m lap when I am trying to read. Pet me while I am doing laundry etc.

Ha, Christmas dinner 2008, Bijou was 6 months old. We were at my sister's, with guests. Dinner was rib roast. After dinner, while family and guests were in the den relaxing, Bijou came jogging into the room with a big chunk of something reddish in her mouth and proceeded to lay down on the beanbag in the middle of the room to eat the rest of the roast in front of guests Unlike Murphey, she didn't look a bit contrite!

All our Pyrs have been huge helps with the landscaping. They like to move the grass and the river rocks around. My favortie is when they help me to move the dirt from point A (The lawn) to point B (the stone patio).

    Red face

Today, I put the Big Dawg Daddy, my retired service dawg, Newfie/Lab, Mogi, outside. After he was gone for awhile, I assumed he was just going for a little walkabout. Rinty started barking on the porch. When I opened the door, he refused to come in. I closed door, he started barking again. I thought he was playing the "let me in, let me out" game. Then I noticed a black head almost covered with snow off the far end of the porch. His legs went out on him and there he was, totally patient, not making a peep. Fortunately, the neighbor kid was here and helped get him up. I just had surgery on my broken right wrist, but I gladly would have popped my stitches to get him up. It all turned into a happy ending, but I'm most amazed with Rin-Tin-Tin. He was not leaving his post on the porch; he wanted to make sure I saw his "brother." Took me twice outside before I noticed the snow covered Mogi. Thank the Lord above for Rin-Tin-Tin's persistence. Gotta love them dawggies!
