Hello, I just had a question about what age Pyr's stop growing. Are they done growing at 1 year of age or 2 years. Just curious. My 2 females have not gained anything in about 2 mo. They are 11 mo. old and weigh 85 and 90 lbs. They are not that tall either. I just thought that they would be a little taller. No big deal if this is all the bigger they get. I am just surprised that they are much smaller than most on this site. Their parents are pretty big. Thanks.

Their weights sounds perfectly normal, you can tell by the feel of their ribs. If you can feel their ribs through their fur they're fine. However, ribs should not be protruding - if they are protruding they need their food increased.

Many may be bigger, however too big is considered a fault when showing - not that that matters, however 85 and 90 lbs is fine for a female.

They have probably reached their height potential, however it's likely they will gain a bit more weight over the next year to two years. ;)

40 to 50 brands of wet dog and cat foods have been recalled - check yours - foods are causing kidney failure

Age doesn't really play a part in this. Some females are grown by two....we have a female who finally stopped at 4. She is a large female: almost 29 inches at the top of the shoulders. :)
