Well I just sighned up and figured i would share some details of my wonderful pyr cole (named after a john wayne character cole thornton) or as he is affectionatly known at my house Fatdog. He just turned four this Christmas and having him has been the best dog expierience ever. He is so well behaved naturally and I havent had even the slightest problem. we love to walk in the woods and supprisingly he is very well behaved off leash. He loves the creek and loves to help me with the horses. his favorite spot since he was a puppy has been the top of the manure pile (go figure). He loves to be out but loves to be with me more. he thinks he is a maltese when he lays on my lap on the couch. he is also hours of entertain ment when he is in fruity mode where he will run and jump and freak out kind of like a cat. he is wonderful with all the animals he comes in contact with and is a natural baby sitter never letting my nefew out of sight and keeps him out of trouble. he also doubles as a pillow and humane version of a bearskin rug. in other words he loves to lay in the middle of the floor. Words could never fully describe him but i hope that gives a little insight into the world of fatdog.

AHHH!!!! Welcome! I haven't been signed in to this site for very long. But Pyrs have been such an important part of my life for SO VERY LONG! I could never immagine myself without them. At this time I have a four year old Female, 'Rainbow', and a 6 month old Male, 'Whisper'. (Rain's half Brother)

We too walk often in the woods. On snow shoes in the winter. My Pyr Babies love it. And we also have horses. Although only three at this time. But in the past there were many sheep raised on this hill as well.

It's GREAT to have you join in!!!!! Hope to hear lots more from you and your Fur Family.

I'm going to go curl up by the wood stove right now. With a Pyr on each foot. It's going down to -30 again this evening.

Again. Welcome!
