W currently own two female pyrs. They are 14 month old siblings. They live with our goats at our other farm. My sister has a 3 month old male that I said we would take. Now, I am wondering if this is a good move. I have read quite a bit about fighting among pyrs. Will this pup be safe with the two females?

males and females rarely fight seriously, when they fight, its usually a minor thing. Most fights are same *** fights, female on female, male on male

I am just curious how big your 2 females are? I also have 2 female siblings and they are 90 lbs each at 10 months. They do not fight really at all. Just curious how fights will be at later age when they are bigger.

i have two pyrs a 3 year old and a one year old some times they fight dont last long its more food agression i think as the one year old loves to guard food pans that what starts fights around here i have 9 dogs the two pyrs accept other new dogs al the time as long as i let then know they are part of the family but females do fight harder than males i think the yonger one i have is going to be bigger than my older girl its getting harder for older one to be boss and she has never been to bossy i just make them stop they listen to me very good good luck with your new pup :)

My 14 month old females probably weigh 90-100 pounds. They haven't really grown much in the past few months, but they have filled out some. I don't expect them to grow anymore.
One is much thinner than the other. She just doesn't eat much. I think she would be prettier if she were a little heavier - like her sister. We have separate feeding bowls for them so they won't fight while they are eating. Maybe she is just built different.

my 2 are very well built. They are not fat at all. They are just about perfect probably. I am just surprised that they are not that tall yet. Compared to both of their parents they are short. I just thought they would grow up first then fill out. How tall are most females? I am guessing mine are about 25" at the back.
