Dog Food ????

I am just a little curious as to what age to switch to dog food. How long shoul I keep them on puppy food. Right now I am mixing Purina Hi-pro large puppy with a can of food. They seem to like it.

So, does this mean that nobody knows what age to switch to dog food?

I started the switch at 12 months (based on advise from my vet). I purchase the last bag of puppy food and a bag of adult food, mixed the two together so that the transition would not be too abrupt to cause upset stomach.
