We know of a family in Spartanburg SC who has 8 mo old Pyr that they can no longer take care of. (never did IMO) It's a male named Rosco. His tail has hair missing and is bent strange (I'm told from one of his litter mates chewing on it) it's the brother to mine. He's been in a kennel most of his life only taken out to go outside to the bathroom and to eat. He'd need to be cleaned up as I know they don't bathe him or brush him. There would be no charge for him.

If anyone could help this dog, let me know and I'll leave my email or phone number.

Or let me know if there's maybe a rescue in that area they could take him to?

I found two contact people for SC and will be forwarding those names and numbers to the family in SC. I should have known to look before posting.

Thanks all

A contact on another website suggested to check into this rescue near Spartanburg.

I hope you see this soon.
I have a very possible solution for this Pyr.
My friend works with a shelter but they don't put the dogs down. She just told me that if the other link does not pan out to let her know. They will be able to either adopt the dog out to a forever home or one of the girls there will take him and adopt him.
She lives in South Carolina.
