I'm not any expert at all.
Just curious though, how long have you had her?

We're raising our second pyr, and wow! Ours didn't start barking until about 6 months old. Not sure if that's the case for all Pyrs though.

Did you just get the puppy? It is very common for 8 week old puppies to carry on at night at a new home because it is not used to not having its littermates around at sleeping time and so it is feeling insecure.

We got both of our current dogs at 8 weeks. The male was very easy, he never cried when we put him the crate to sleep the first night we got him. Our female was horrible. She cried and carried on for hours in the crate every night that after a week we gave in and let her sleep in our bedroom where she wanted to be.

Sounds normal for a new pup. Get yourself a crate and out the pup in at night and just let it make all the noise it wants. Once it realizes it wont get a reaction from you, it will stop. Make sure you get up several times a night to let it out to pee, never let it go in the crate.

It does take awhile for any pup to settle down at night, missing it's litter mates. Our male cried for a week, no make that screamed for a week!!
I had his crate next to the bed thinking that would help easy his insecurity, but it really didn't help. I tried playing with him to tire him out before we went to bed...nope that didn't work either. I tried the old, ticking clock in his crate, he probably couldn't hear it through his vocalizing!! Finally, just as the nerves were shot from very little sleep, I was ready to give in about the 8th night, just about ready to reach into his crate & let him sleep with us, and then I heard it...silence!! A few whimpers, then quiet.
It took awhile, but he finally settled down. I'm sure your pup will too.
Good luck..and try to get some rest!

Here is what has worked for us with many different foster dogs as well as our Lab and our Pyr when he was a pup. We put a crate in the bedroom so he could see us when we went to bed. It also helps when he wakes up at night to know when to get up and let him out. He is scared and is looking for some security. We had a foster dog that would scream - not cry for an hour every night when we would put her in a crate at night. The crate was in another room. Then, it struck us to put her in the bedroom and she would lay right down and go to sleep. After about a week we were able to put her back in the other crate without any issues.

On the being lazy and dosing all day thing: POKE THAT DOG!!!! She isn't sleeping because she isn't tired! Puppies nap a lot but you need to keep them awake and NOT let them sleep whenever they want. I know it makes your life easier if you let them sleep but you are seeing what happens at night. Pyr's are noctournal anyway so you need to make sure the pup is tired at night to limit the activity level. My 1 year old Pyr male will get up and move around a lot at night but he also doesn't make any noise. When he was a pup we would play with him until he couldn't stand up anymore. Then, let him have a 1/2 hour nap and start all over again. Puppies are work! Pyr puppies are a lot of work!
