My little girl is 8 months and about 60 lbs. I am trying to get an idea of how big she may end up to be. Is anyone else willing to share doggie stats so I can get an idea??

That's difficult to say...have you seen the dam and sire? How big were they?

BTW...this thread will probably get moved since it's a general or health discussion and not Web site related.

I saw both and they looked huge! But we were looking at ther last night and she doesn't seem like she is getting that big. Maybe we're getting used to it?

I didn't realize where I started the thread. opps!

When you mentioned that the parents are huge, how big were they? Pounds? Height at the withers?

Well, mom was not standing when I saw her she was laying as the pups were transitioning from milk to kibble, but Dad (I got my Pyr from a farm, she breeds working dogs) is about 110 lbs. I don't remember a lot because I was holding my pup and looking at all of the animals. I love animals :)

My puppy is 65lbs. at 6 mos.0ld ...He was rescued from a farm at a mo.old (taken from mom way to early ) both parents were there and the woman that rescued Him said they were x-large ...what ever that means most pyrs are .
He had no hair on his paws or tail and his tail was broKen he was infested with worms and his ears were infected...He's doing great now his hair is growing on his tail ,and I think his paws might have some bare spots... but will see ...he still just a baby. He has a beautiful coat now I have him on a holistic diet and Ihave to give him pumpkin and rice mixed w/his food he was having a hard time ajusting to this new food but I think now its getting better his poo is getting a lot firmer .I am gonna try the yogurt just for a change I have herd that pyrs should be exposed to a diverse diet ...I dont know if its true though. The one thing about my pyr (Babe is his name) is he is always hungry I did hear if you put beans in their food it will make them feel fuller and thats something else to try,

If the sire was around 110 lbs., then there's a good chance that your puppy will end up around that same size. Both of my Pyrs are between 110 - 115 lbs., and I would say they are about average in height and weight to the other Pyrs we know of.
